20/30/40 Decision Time!

After testing out a couple of different curriculums, we've decided to focus in on Infusion. We liked that it took a smaller chunk of the Bible each week. The tentative plan is to focus on a study for two weeks. In the Monday-->Saturday between the 1st and 2nd week, the class members will have a handout (about 5 pages) to read and reflect on for the 2nd week of each study. Unfortunately, the Infusion website is down right now. . . So. . . We'd wanted to spend about 6 weeks in Romans, but instead we spent two in Romans and now we are headed for the Gospels. (We had downloaded a couple of sample ones before their website cut out.) John E. will be leading in November. Thank you to the over one dozen people who have been a part of making 20/30/40 a success. There is always room for new people. With 2 week studies, it's always a great time to jump in! Please join us on Sunday at 10:10 in room 145.

20/30/40

I found a great website. This cartoon seems to capture some of what we are doing in the 20/30/40 Sunday School class. As one member put it, "we are asking different questions than other people ask (about the Bible.) We are asking hard questions."

20/30/40

We launched a new Sunday school class last week for people in their 20's, 30's and 40's. We had ten people the first week! Click here to see a video preview of the class.

The class is a "Bible to life" class. This means it is primarily focused on helping people learn to read and understand the Bible, and then apply it to everyday life. We are testing out several different curricula. The first two weeks we used The Thoughtful Christian's curriculum on Job. After we've evaluated that one we are going to test Infusion.

Please join us Sundays at 10:10 in room 135 as we grow in wisdom together.
